Twins are new in "The Sims 2." They aren't impossible to get, but are rare. It took me about 4 months of playing 3 to 4 times a week. They aren't all they are cracked up to be. Especially when you get 2 sets right in a row.

Okay, I have tons of twins. One lady had two sets back to back. In another family the husband was abducted and gave birth to twin aliens. Later on his daughter got pregnant, before getting married/engaged, and had twins. I played at the “Broke” house in Pleasantville and she had twins. I only have one set of identical twins though. I think if the aspiration is family it increases the likelyhood. I however, have tons of twins.

right then this is like so wierd, i had twins all over the gaff, one twin her another there. Anyway how come all my twins are unidentical, can you get identical twins? I love the sims 2 but every time i try to have a baby and whens shes in birth the game crashes why?
My problem is my sim had twins but one disappeared, it doesn’t show any actions for it but there’s memories of it.
AHH! ive tried getting twins for 3 years straight! i eat breathe live and poop the sims and NOTHING!!!!!!!!! ATTENTION PLANET EARTH: GIVE ME YOUR BABIES! GIVE ME YOUR TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!
You might have a twins hack installed. Hacks can be transfered through house downloads.

how do u know if u have identical twins?
I finaly figured it out!!! To have twins you have to make the man and woman “woohoo” with the man on the left side of the bed, not in the tub. Quickly after that, have them “try for a baby” and then “woohoo” again. If it dosn’t work, not a lullaby after you “try for a baby”, then try the whole process over again. When it works order chinese food and pizza for the next few meals and dont work out. Then in just three days you will have twins. P.S. Dont do it more than once in the same family… trust me.
Im trying to have twins.. its almost impossible, I have tried the Spaghetti and Cookies only.. but it wont work..

Control + shift + c to get to cheat window.
Wow, I got the Sims 2 about a week ago and the first lady that got pregnant had twins! I was completely shocked, I had no idea it could happen. I didn’t have her eat any particular foods, but both her and her husband have ‘family’ aspirations and they ‘tried for a baby’ in bed. Now they both want 10 children, which will get them 15000 reward points each. I’m up for the challenge! (Though now that the twins have become two screaming toddlers, I’m having doubts!)
I had twins and they weren’t married and this was her third time being pregant. I didn’t do anyhting but try for baby. I alway and losing one of them becuase i can’t find them in my big house. I can’t wait to play again and let them grow up so i can find them. lol
I wish i DIDNT have twins. They are a huge pain, expecially in the toddler stage, and I find that to get them fully trained, I tend to have to stop aging because there simply isnt enough time. I probably have between 8 to 12 sets of twins in ONE neighborhood. And at least 2 families with 2 sets. Will the inhumanity ever end?!? It’s torture I say. I wonder if some games just have a higher tendency for it? I got my first set in the FIRST family I created (boy was that a nightmare, i was totally unprepared), where my friend literally played for weeks without any twins… puzzling.
Alex - I think there is something to getting twins and then having them show up many times. In one playing session I had about 4 sets of twins. Two sets right in a row with Brandi Broke. Once the twin card comes up, it’s hard to make it go away.
One of the best ways to get twins is too not want them. The game just seems to know. If you already have one, and just want one more, you are sure to have twins.

I’ve had over 3 sets of twins, from the Caliente family, the Goth family and two of my created family. It’s incredibly annoying sometimes and most of them are identical twin girls although once I got two identical boys.

I had twins their father is black (Darren Dirk) and mother is white (Lilith? Pleasant) and one twin is black and one is white. Anyone else had this?
Just realised their mother is a twin so maybe this made twins more likely!

You dont have to have open for business to use the forcetwins cheat code. forcetwins works for me and the only expansion pack I have is Night Life
you should eat cheesecake and voila! TWINS. It’s the oldest trick in the book. Good luck!
My sim had a set of twin girls to a married neighbor. When the babies grew into toddlers one had changed into a boy. He is totally ignored by the nanny and I have to badger my sim to feed him. When I checked the family tree he is down as a son of the neighbor and his wife!!!!

i know i may sound stupid and all that but how do you feed you baby sim?
rachel, you click on the refrigerator and click “feed baby”
and to wash it go to a sink and click “give baby a bath”
something like that
Everyone-Jamie is right you do not need OFB to use forcetwins I only have Nightlife and
Mansion&Garden Stuff and I use it all the time.
When ur sim is pregnant you just write into the cheat bar twinsrcute and then they have twins. i think they are identical
if u want twins you can use a cheat. the cheat is “forcetwins” obviously without the quotations
Hey,Do you all know on the sims life storied on p.c,in one family you cant have more than four people in a family:S i think its stupid is there like a cheat so the woman can get pregnant more or somethin? Ps i Love simsssS:D xox
TWINS! I’m so excited! I’m fairly new to the game, and have only played my created family. I only have the University expansion pack. This was Mama’s third pregnancy, and the two kids are already adults. Thanks to the rejuvenation juice for making this possible.
I don’t know yet if they’re twins, but they’re both girls and they both have Papa’s blue eyes. Thank goodness I decided to move them into a custom home with 5BR and 3BA before I tried again for a baby; raising two kids in the small ranch flats is a pain.
I didn’t have the Mama do anything special during the pregnancy; she ate whatever and only swam as a recreational activity.
I had twins, Lizzy and Zac, and its very odd because all I have to do is feed and play with Lizzy and she will be quiet in her cot for over three hours, whereas Zac constantly cries!
If twins are born, when they grow up they are more likely to get twins. If you have generations of twins, your sure to get them!
