The Search for a New Monitor

A few months ago, my 21" monitor bite the bullet. Since then I've been using a, which feels insanely small now, 17" monitor. My laptop is actually larger since it's a 17" widescreen. My desktop is in dire need of upgrading, so I figure I might as well start with the monitor.

About's Peripherals Guide Shane McGlaun recently reviewed the HP f2105 21" monitor and gave it a good review. I'll have to pass though (it's over $550), even if it is perfect for gaming. Mark Kyrnin highly recommends Dell 20.1" widescreen LCD ($400) and a few other widescreen monitors that are out of my price range ($700 plus for some).
