The Sims 3 is about to get a little more rainy, snowy, windy and sunny with the upcoming Seasons Expansion Pack, scheduled for release in November.
As with the Pets Expansion Pack, Seasons draws its inspiration from a popular add-on for The Sims 2, giving credence to the adage, "everything old is new again." Sims can finally experience what it's like to go through changes in climate, including coming down with colds, getting a tan, and of course, being struck by lightning.
In addition to a dynamic weather system, the expansion will include festivals, long awaited items like diving boards, and an assortment of seasonal clothing and décor options. More details about the game (including aliens and UFOs!) can be found on my Seasons Expansion Pack profile page.
