"Real Lives"

Dealing with life issues in "Real Lives."

About.com Rating four out of Five

By Courtney Marchelletta, About.com

The issues you deal during each life are customizable. The major sections are: Conscience, Culture, Crime and Abuse, Sexuality and Family, Government/Human Rights, Health, Natural Disasters, Prejudice, and Vices. Under each section is a specific type of issue. For example, Crime and Abuse, has burglary. You can check and uncheck as many issues as you want.

Your choices as a child and teenager will come back to haunt you as an adult. You will feel the after effects of smoking, not studying, or spending all your time socializing. Fortunately, the game allows you to revert to a different year of a life. So you can make the changes to become successful.

All of the features I've mentioned in the review make "Real Lives" a replayable game. If you are interested in the concept, you can spend hours testing out different scenarios.

"Real Lives" is challenging - some lives are very difficult - and educational. It's surprisingly addicting. While it doesn't have fancy graphics, it makes you want to try out lives in all parts of the world and experiment with decisions. For many of you, this probably isn't a game you'd play daily, but at least download the demo and try it a few times.

It's a fun game, that lets you see how differently other people's lives are.
