Guide Review - "Battlefield 1942"

I don't usually review first person shooters, but this one intrigued me. "Battlefield 1942" is a war simulation that is more about action then conducting a realistic war. In real-life each member has a specific job to carry out. But not in this game, you can go from driving a tank to flying an airplane. The multiplayer portion of the game is great - if you have a fast, and stable connection. They claim you can play up to 64 players, but in reality slow ping times make it rare. Overall "Battlefield 1942" is a good game. The multiplayer is good, but over hyped. I wouldn't recommend it to simmers who prefer realistic gameplay. "Battlefield 1942" is meant for gamers who love shooters and don't mind setting aside the realistic factors of war.
