Guide Review - "Civilization III : Play the World Expansion Pack"

If you didn't like the original "Civilization III" the expansion pack isn't going to change your mind, unless of course what you wanted was mulitplayer options. Multiplayer games is the focus of the expansion pack, while adding new civs, leaders, and scenario editor too.

"Play the World" uses a third-party service - GameSpy Acrade - to provide mulitplayer games. You can play turned based or simultaneous games. My favorite mode is Play by Email, odd I know. But I like playing games with friends without having to figure out a good time for both of us to be on.

Consider this expansion pack if you love multiplayer games or creating scenarios, because that's where the focus of "Play the World" is.
