In 1987 Sid Meier developed “Pirates.” Now in the 21st century, the Firaxis team is reviving the classic, and taking advantage of technology advances. “Sid Meier’s Pirates!” will have a completely new game engine, including updated gameplay, 3D graphics, and surround sound. The game centered on the adventures as a Spanish Pirate.
In “Sid Meier’s Pirates!” you are a Pirate Captain in the 17th century, located in the Caribbean. Your job is to get fortune and fame and become the most feared pirate in history. As the game progresses you will need more staff and crew on your ship. This will give you the ability to take on larger enemies and discover ancient treasures. Through your journey to become a powerful pirate you will meet unique characters, take on mysteries, and explore islands.
