You'll pick up most of the tips in this guide just by playing for a while. But it will help you get a head start, instead of trying to figure out the sequences to training your pet. The section of about new pests in the game is especially useful, since it does contain tips that you may not think of right away. The career tables and pictures of new objects are always favorite sections of mine in strategy guides for "The Sims." This is perhaps the most useful strategy guide for the series, because there are new aspects of the game that aren't as intuitive. Plus it's a great read while you're sitting at work waiting to go home to play.
