"The Sims Makin' Magic" Announced

It feels like every few months I'm sitting here to write about a new expansion pack for "The Sims." This time will be no different. Maxis has announced on the UK website they will release a final expansion pack for "The Sims." "The Sims Makin' Magic" will add a new area devoted to learning magic, new characters, objects, and of course new skins.

While the list of game features (next page) is impressive, I have to wonder if magic is really the best choice. It appears Maxis is taking advantage of the popularity of Harry Potter. Magic is unrealistic for the most part, and something I try to keep out of my game. But then, I was also unsure of "The Sims Superstar" and ended up loving it.
