Make a Painting with The Sims Art Studio

Here's How:

1. Change color settings to 16 bit. This is required for Art Studio to run. Right-click on desktop, choose properties. Click the settings tab, change color quality to 16 bit.
2. Open the The Sims Art Studio. Click start on the first page.
3. The first thing the programs asks is for you to choose a frame type. You can change this later by pressing back, so if you the frame doesn't work out you aren't stuck with it. Select next once you've chosen your frame.
4. Now it's time to find the picture you want to frame. Click the load picture button, and browse to your picture file. Click ok once it has been selected.
5. In this step you have a chance to resize your picture using the frame size as a guideline. Click next when you find the perfect fit.
6. Choose the color and texture of your frame. Each time you click color or texture, you advance once through the choices. Click next when completed.
7. Click Catalog Info to edit the information and price that will appear in the game. Click Next when completed.
8. Click Save to save your painting. The painting will automatically be saved in the correct "The Sims" folder.

Tips:

1. Small images, without an enormous amount of detail work best for pictures created with The Sims Art Studio.
2. If you need help any time during the tutorial, you can click on the Sim who is painting for help.
