Make a Date in "The Sims Hot Date"

Tired of the Townies (a Sim you'll meet Downtown) that come with "Hot Date Expansion Pack"? You can make your own Townies instead of using the defaults. Maxis created an add-on tool that will allow you to customize your Townie.

What You Need:

• "The Sims" - Learn More
• "The Sims Hot Date Expansion Pack" - Learn More
• Make-A-Date Tool - Download
• Your Imagination

How to Create a Date

• Download and start the Make-A-Date Tool.
• Start Program and Click Create.
• Customize your Townie - Name, bio, interests, clothes, career, etc.
• Save your Sim in the correct folder -
• C:\ProgramFiles\Maxis\TheSims\Template NPC

Use Your Townie
In order for you to use the Sim you created you will need to replace one of the default Townies'. Your new Townie will only be active in the neighborhood you save him too.

• Start the Make-A-Date Tool.
• Click Replace.
• Select the neighborhood you want the Townie in.
• Select the Townie you want to replace.
• Select the new Townie.
• Confirm your choices.
• Next time you start the game, you'll see your Townie Downtown.

You can upload your newly created Townie to the Date Exchange at the official "The Sims" website.
