Sound
Some of the best sound I have heard in awhile. When playing, you will truly feel like you are sitting in the cockpit. Although, during lessons it is a bit hard to hear the instructor. So be sure to listen carefully!

Overall
Looking for a realistic flight simulator? "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002" is your best best. You'll get the complete flight sim experience here. My biggest complaint is that a paper copy of the manual is not included. But even this is a minor problem considering all the things that could have gone wrong. The improvements made on the graphics is a great reason (and there are many others) to buy the new version. For those of you who haven't tried one of Microsoft's flight simulators, don't expect a lot of action. If you want action and explosions, buy a combat flight simulator.

You are probably wondering which version you should buy. Die-hard fans will no doubt buy the professional version. Newbies may be happy with the standard version, as they haven't begun to make their own planes yet. If you absolutely must have the extra aircraft, want to try out the Flight Instructor Station, or like making your own aircraft buy the professional version. If not, save some money and buy the standard version. Either way, you are sure to love the game.
