If you have an interest in law, now is your chance to get to see how the legal system works. In "Pursuit of Justice," you are the prosecuting lawyer that must put together a solid case to prosecute the defendant. You follow the case from the beginning to the end, from examining evidence to interrogating witnesses on the stand.
Gameplay
You're given lots of tools and people to talk to, to help you get through the case. There's the crime lab, police station where you can watch interrogations and talk with inmates, and you can ask for legal advice. The neat thing about the crime lab is you're not just told the results of the tests. You actually get to match up DNA and fingerprints to the correct match. The technician can be a bit testy if you take too many guesses to get the right ones. But it's all in good fun.
After you've collected evidence from the police station, crime lab, and maybe even visited the crime scene, its time to put the case together in the Case Constructer. With the evidence you have collected, you'll need to put together a case for identity and for the criminal act. Without solid evidence, you'll lose the case. The defendant's lawyer is more then happy to ask for a dismissal because of lack of evidence.
Time moves quickly in the game. You'll be distracted with people (like the office secretary, and police officers) that want to talk about how great of a lawyer you are. There will be constant messages left for you on your phone; most not pertaining to the case. Ignore these things and focus on the case, because you are given little time.
Sound
The sound meets expectations for a budget game. The voices of the people are clear and very easy to understand.
Graphics
The quality of the graphics is good. There are parts where lines appear, because of how it was taped. You'll find this mostly in the beginning, but once you get past it, you'll find the graphics are very nice. Take a look at some screenshots, to get a feel for the game.
Overall
Don't get discourage your first time through a case, especially the first one you do. It takes time to learn the interface and game expectations. Your second time through will be much easier.
