Party Anyone?
So you've bought "House Party" and need some help getting started? This would be a great guide for you, especially if you wanted the addition info about general game play. Over half the book is dedicated to the original version. A variety of aspects of "House Party" are covered. There are chapters about designing a house (great section), setting up for a party, new NPCs, and new objects. If you've been playing "House Party" for a while, you probably won't get much out of this. Since you've probably discovered what the guide has to offer already. But, if you are new to "The Sims" or "House Party," you'll find the thorough charts, and details about interactions between sims and objects invaluable.
Overall, I found the book useful and entertaining. There is a particularly cute section, that tells stories about Sims. The only major drawback is that it doesn't cover the "Living Large Expansion Pack." So if you want learn about "Living Large," you'll have to buy another strategy guide for that.
