A bargain?
I was excited to hear about "Mall Tycoon" when it was announced, I thought it was a great concept, and one that I could see being very popular. However, after playing "Mall Tycoon," I am disappointed in the final product. The graphics attempt to create a 3D world, but they are blocky and look like they came from the early '90s. The poorly done graphics is not all that is bad about this game. Gameplay becomes very repetitive and boring after a short gaming session. Now don't get me wrong, I love micromanagement games, but this one just didn't keep my interest.
"Mall Tycoon" does have some good points installation went smoothly, it's easy to learn, and the sound is fabulous compared to other aspects of the game. The interface is also very easy to learn. The stores are neatly organized through menus, along with decorative items.
Unless you have a strong desire to build your own mall, I don't recommend this game.
