Guide Review
Be the Captain
Forget about all the other "Star Trek" games out there. This is the one you should try first. The ships are in 3D graphics, the sound is good, and Capitan Picard and Data will assist you. However, the game is not perfect. It has little replay value. After all, once you go through the missions, you know what's going to happen the next time you play. There is very little room for exploration. Yes, strategy is involved, but not as much as I would have liked. Many of the missions involve searching and destroying the enemy.

The manual is a great resource for learning the ropes of "Bridge Commander." But if you are like me, you'll still probably forgo the manual and just jump right into the game. You'll discover that the game largely depends on your interactions with the crew. Each of the crew members have special jobs. Some of their responsibilities include: tactics, helm, science, and engineering.

As I "Star Trek" fan myself, I can easily recommend this game to "Star Trek" fans. This game allows you to immerse yourself into the "Star Trek" world. Everything from the sound to the credits, reminds me of the TV show. In fact, Patrick Stewart and Brent Spiner do the voiceovers for their characters, Captain Picard and Commander Data, respectively. "Bridge Commander" is definitely one of the best "Star Trek" games available.
