Create a Tropical Paradise
For those of you who haven't played "Tropico" or know very little about it, let me give you a brief summary. In "Tropico" you are the dictator of a tropical island, and you have control over almost everything. The game even has lots of options if you choose to be an evil dictator. You build industries, farms, housing, and entertainment.
My favorite means of money has always been tourism. It doesn't produce air pollution, gives you lots of money once you build some attractions, and it's fun watching them. With "Paradise Island" the world of tourism becomes even easier. The new hotels and tourist attractions make it a bit easier to build up the industry.
The expansion pack may concentrate on tourism, but it also has some added benefits. It fixes bugs, gives you more edicts, buildings, and another hour of music. But watch out for mother nature! The island can be hit with hurricanes, diseases, and other types of storms.
If you already love "Tropico" buy it. Even if you haven't played "Tropico" yet, and are interested in the game, go pick up the original and the expansion pack. For the price, you just can't beat the quality that you'll discover it has.
