"The Sims Vacation" Review

Electronic Arts has announced they that will release "The Sims Vacation," an expansion pack to the popular game "The Sims." This new expansion pack will allow players to send their Sims on vacation to a warm, sunny island far away from their nosy neighbors. Finally, our Sims will be able to relax and just enjoy life, instead of worrying about paying bills (yeah like they really do that), cleaning up after messy roommates, and getting to work on time.

Like "Hot Date," "The Sims Vacation" will add ten new lots that you can build resorts on. Each lot will have a theme, like winter, forest, or beach. I think we can safely assume, there will be plenty of new objects to complement the themes. Sims will get to stay in hotels with the essentials and more.

"The Sims Hot Date allowed you to take an individual Sim out of the house and on a downtown rendezvous," said Tim LeTourneau, Producer at EA's Maxis(tm) studio. "With The Sims Vacation, you can take your whole Sim household to a fabulous island for a Sims-style holiday." Sim kids get tired of being left at home. But now you can bring them along.

This new expansion pack will add more social interactions and activities. Sims will be able to play volleyball on the beach, have snowball fights, snowboard, fish or hunt for hidden treasure. And of course there will be new NPCs.

No vacation would be complete without souvenirs. Sims will be able to buy souvenirs from gift shops, find treasure on the beach, and win prizes in carnivals (like a stuffed penguin).

New Objects:

Volleyball
Snowman
Coconut Monkey
Fishing
Slide
Hotel
Hunting
Snowboard
Prize Booth
And Many More
