Survival Sims

While life sims have you managing one or multiple lives in various settings, survival sims are more focused: they involve trying to stay alive in a potentially inhospitable environment. Scavenging for tools and equipment, managing thirst and hunger, and tending to injuries are all key features in a survival sim. In addition to the environment itself, dangers can come in the form of other people, animals or creatures.
