Your goal in the game's 12-scenario campaign mode is to ensure the citizens of Vienna, Helsinki, Berlin and Amsterdam can rely on various means of travel to reach their destinations as quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Over 30 types of transportation are available, from trams and subway trains to buses and helicopters, across four eras between 1920 and 2020.
You'll deal with contractors, bankers, insurance companies, and more as you attempt to best meet the needs of the seven different social groups in each city. In addition to the campaign, Cities in Motion includes a sandbox mode for open-ended play and a map editor for creating custom-designed cities.
