Farming is hard work. No doubt about that. Sim farming, on the other hand, is simple (usually). Plow, plant, and harvest crops. And maybe even care for animals.
"FarmTown"
Facebook Game: You start off small on a small plot of land. Plow a field, plant some seeds (more become available as you advance), and harvest the crops. Easy game. You can send a gift to your farmer friends once a day, and they to you. This is a great way to get crops you can't buy on the lower levels. The second social aspect is hiring and being hired to harvest and plow fields. Both you and your friend make more money. Or if a friend is not online at the same time, go to the marketplace to hire a hand."Farmville"
Facebook Game: The principles of "Farmville" are similar to "FarmTown." There are two big differences. "Farmville" has much better graphics, what I consider to be the plus of "Farmville." There is no outside help plowing or harvesting though. "Farmville" makes up for it by having plow tractors and harvesters in the store. You cannot go wrong by playing "Farmville." A good number"Island Paradise"
Facebook Game: "Island Paradise" is not your typical farming sim. You are on a deserted island. Planting trees and seeds are your way to survival. You play through a cycle of plow, plant, and harvest. Crops are not eaten, but sold. The real question is who's buying the crops when your on a deserted island? hmmm? Oh well - it's a great little game to play when you finish harvesting other farms."Funky Farm"
Make money by raising sheep and shearing them and slaughtering pigs. Each level is timed. You're goal is to make money, more with each level. As you progress, better tools are available. You will need to build fences for your animals to protect them from wolves. Not the best farm game out - but amusing nevertheless.
