Description:
Bohemia Interactive expands the world of Arma II with the Army of the Czech Republic expansion, exclusively available as a digital download. As with other entries in the Arma series, the content features authentic units and vehicles across multiple theatres of war.
Story
As a member of the Czech Republic Army, your mission is to put a stop to insurgents looking to undermine the fragile peace that's emerging from the long shadow of civil war. Reconstruction teams are now under attack, and war criminals are focused on looting and murdering civilians to create panic and unrest.
Units and Weapons
Army of the Czech Republic introduces eight all-new units to the Arma series. This includes the L-159 ALCA combat aircraft, the Dingo 2 CZ infantry mobility vehicle, the RM-70 multiple rocket launcher, the T810 cargo truck, the BVP-1 amphibious infantry fighting vehicle, the T-72M4 CZ tank, a passenger car resembling the Volkswagen Passat, and the Pandur II 8x8 CZ armored personnel carrier.
There are a total of eight weapons included in the add-on: the CZ 805 BREN modular weapon, the CZ Scorpion EVO III submachine gun, the UK-59 universal machine gun, the CZ 750 S1 M1 sniper rifle, the CZ 75 D Compact pistol, the CZ 75 P-07 Duty pistol, the CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom pistol, and the RBS 70 portable air-defense system.
All weapons are based on real-life specifications, from realistic zoom and field-of-view settings to authentic ammunition power and magazine compatibility. Bullet ballistics are simulated as well, and each weapon can be outfitted with scopes and accessories such as silencers, grenade launchers, and optical sights.
Setting
Army of the Czech Republic features the two new summer season terrains of Bystrica and Bukovina as players embark on a 15-mission campaign. Since this is an expansion, Army of the Czech Republic requires Arma II in order to run.
