Hardcore flight sim fans will want more then just a good graphics card. Yokes, rudder pedals, headsets, and joysticks are hardware options flight simmers should consider buying.
1. Yokes
Racing sims have steering wheels, flight sims have yokes. Yokes are the way to get a real feel for flying a plane without actually being in one. Most yokes require a USB and work with either Windows or Mac.
2. Joysticks
If you can't afford a yoke, the next best thing is a joystick. Joysticks come with a variety of options, looks, and handles. Some joysticks are even based upon real joysticks found in planes.3. Rudder Pedals
If you have a yoke, rudder pedals will complete your flight sim control system setup. Pedals help with dealing with crosswinds, turning, and control during taxiing.4. Headphones / Microphone
A control center is not complete without headphones and a microphone. Headsets will complete the feel of flying a flight sim.
