Guide Review - "Battle of Britain II : Wings of Victory" Review
"Battle of Britain II" comes with a manual, a Documentary DVD, and a large map with flight controls for the keyboard and joystick on the back. You will need to read the manual (especially if you are new to flight sims) to have a full understanding how of how to operate the plans and use the gameplay modes.
You be either the RAF or Germans, in the Instant Action and Campaign modes. The Instant Action mode has basic training, advanced training, historical battles, dogfighting, ground attack, and interceptions. The battles can be customized to some extent, but not so much that they are no longer realistic or accurate in some cases.
Graphically the game ran smoothly, there wasn't any major graphical errors that I noticed. The attention was given to clouds and the planes. The terrain is grainy and feels flat, good thing I didn't spend a lot of time looking at them since I had to focus on the enemy in the sky.
"Battle of Britain II" has the graphics, accuracy, realistic flying, and gameplay. The downsides of "Battle of Britain" is that it comes with the problem that the game is not stable on all computers and the tutorials could use work. Otherwise, it's an enjoyable game with an attention to detail.
