Guide Review - "The Sims 2 University" Expansion Pack Review
Upon arriving at school they have a choice between a dorm and renting a house. In the dorms, the extra rooms fill with NPCs. For this reason, the dorms are one my favorite lots to play. Having NPCs around is good for easy friend making and keeping the dorm lively.
Attending class and doing assignments are required to have good grades and continue to pass in school. Skills are also required too. The skills needed depend on which major the Sim has, each giving the Sim an advantage in certain career tracks.
Going to class, doing homework, and writing term papers will be overwhelming at first. It won't take long to get into a routine, in fact, as long as you go to class and the final exam, you'll pass.
The new objects and interactions are based on what young adults are like as a group. Most of the new objects, I wouldn't use in most my homes. The new skins added are also only for the young adults, and do not offer a lot of variety.
My main reason for liking "The Sims 2 University" is that it adds more time to a Sim's life. More time to make friends, earn skills, and have fun. The new stage fills the awkward stage between teen and adult.
