Guide Review - "Stronghold 2" Review
The gameplay is typical of city building games. Build a population, build buildings, create crops, take care of those crops, and get the food to the people. There is also an army to focus on. With free-form mode you decide what your objectives are, instead of letting someone else tell you what you need to do. One good feature of "Stronghold 2," is that when you are stuck you can get hints to help you get past a difficult spot.
Despite the fact, that I love city building games and the Medieval time, I had a difficult time getting into the gameplay and caring about my towns. The graphical glitches happened too often and the objectives, I feel like I have done many times before in other games. "Stronghold 2" isn't all bad. The map editor, camera views, and 3 playing modes are all great things "Stronghold 2" has to offer. It just wasn't enough to keep my interest.
