Guide Review - "Zoo Vet" Review
You are shown an animal, and can zoom in and out as needed to use the tools to test, diagnose, and cure their problems. On the side of the main screen, there is a PDA shaped screen that provides hints and information. After signing off and give a diagnosis and medicine, a score is given on how well the situation was handled. The questions, your testing, and the medicine are all scored. Explanations are given for each section.
This process in "Zoo Vet" becomes repetitive quickly. Monitor, test, and medicating is the basic routine for each animal. Some medical problems are surprising, and would be more interesting if using the magnifying glass the graphics weren't pixilated. On the upside, the game does provide a lot of interesting and unusual facts about animals. The animal trivia is not enough to make the game worth buying, unless the recipient is a curious child.
