Top 5 "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002" Scenery Add-ons

By Courtney Marchelletta, About.com

The thing I love about "Microsoft Flight Simulator 2002" is the add-ons. If the game doesn't provide what you are looking for, there is sure to be an add-on that covers the area you want to fly in detail.

1. Scenery Greece

What makes Scenery Greece my first choice? I've always wanted to go to Greece, and with this add-on I can at least fly over it. Included are 25 airports, photo-realistic scenery, and amazing night light effects.

2. The Ultimate Hong Kong Sim

The graphical detail of The Ulitmate Hong King Sim is impressive. Street signs, parked cars, gardens, and houses all have small details that you wouldn't expect. Sixty-seven sightseeing flights are available to fly.

3. Real Scene Terrain Mesh Scenery

I was unsatisfied by some of the terrain details in "Flight Simulator 2002." Real Scene Terrain Mesh Scenery fixes that. It improves on the Grand Canyon, Hawaii, Yosemite, and more.

4. Balearic Islands

Balearic Islands adds some truly beautiful scenery to the game. Airports, elevation models, and objects are improved upon in this add-on.

5. Flight Downunder 2002

Fly over Australia in already made flight plans and communicate with the air traffic controller. Scenery for over 30 airports and other aircraft is offered in this add-on.
