Question: When is the release date for "Spore?"
Answer: "Spore" is Will Wright's current game in development stages. Since "Spore" was first announced the release date has continually been pushed back as the release date nears. It started out being sometime in 2006. No official word has been released when "Spore" will be coming out for certain. For now "Spore" is now be listed as the release date being sometime in 2008.
CVG is now reporting, as of June 20, 2007, that "Spore" won't be released until the 2009 fiscal year which starts April 2008.
Update February 12, 2008 - EA Games has announced "Spore" will be released September 2008. The life sim will be available in stores in the "weekend of September 7th," according to EA's press release.
