Unless you have a top of the line laptop, playing "The Sims 2" is not always the best experience. On my laptop, the game can be impossibly slow at times. It seems that Electronic Arts has listened to laptop owners, and have decided to release a line of sim games made specifically to be used on laptops. "The Sims Life Stories" will have an open-ended play mode and a directed-play that will give you goals for certain Sims.
