"The Sims 2 Nightlife" Expansion Pack to be Released

April 5, 2005: Electronic Arts has officially announced the title and a description of the second expansion pack, "The Sims 2 Nightlife." "The Sims 2 Nightlife" will bring back the downtown and give Sims a chance to finally date in the sequel.

March 15, 2005: The themes of expansion packs for "The Sims 2" has been widely debated among players on forums around the Internet. The debate on what should be the second expansion can now come to an end. Thanks to a promo on the jewel case of "The Sims 2 University," we now know that the next expansion pack will be "The Sims 2 Nightlife." According to the promo, "The Sims 2 Nightlife" is due out Fall of 2005.

The text for "The Sims 2 Nightlife" describes the Sims going out "for a night on the town." The blurb also mentions a romantic dinner date and dancing. The female sim appears to have vampire fangs. Whether this means we will have vampires, or the image is purely to generate interest, we will just have to wait to know for sure.
