"The Sims 2 Pets" Features:
- Share life's experiences with dogs, cats, guinea pigs and birds.
- Use Create-A-Pet to choose from many breeds of cats and dogs or customize your own pet's body, colors, personality (smart, sweet, silly, sloppy, etc.), and markings.
- New memories for Sims that they will remember forever, as the pets are there to play fetch, be trained by child, and watch TV.
- Use special codes to share unlockable pet accessories, fur types or markings with other The Sims 2 Pets players.
- Families are limited to 6 pets, 8 sims, with the maximum being 10 in a household.
- Pets will have similar aging process to Sims, which means they will die.
- Pets can breed and have genetics just like Sims.
- Sims can train pets to shake, roll over, play dead and more. Pets that aren't trained may dig in the backyard, knock of the trash, or ruin furniture.
- Skilled pets can earn a living from three career tracks with 5 job levels: Show Business, Security, and Service.
- Pets will have motives and interests.
- Pets can be bought at a store or added to the family in Create-a-Family.
- Create your own breed and save them for later use in Create-A-Pet.
- In "The Sims 2 Pets," Sims will paint custom pictures.
- Strays will occassionally walkby and will not destory any property. It will be up to you to make the Sim and stary interact.
