"The Sims 2 Pets" : Jobs for the Pets

Pets cannot be directly controlled. They will eat and sleep when and where they want. Sims can take a bit of the control back by teaching them (both cats and dogs) commands. Those commands will be good to have around the house, but also if your pet enters a job.

There are three career tracks, each with four levels for the pets. Salary earned from those jobs will be a great addition to any Sim family. Keep reading to find out which commands are required at each job level.

Security Career Track

• Guard Pet - Stay
• Contraband Sniffer - Speak
• Pet Corps - Play Dead

Service Career Track

• Vermin Chaser - Nothing Required
• Therapy Pet - Shake
• Seeing-Eye Pet - Come
• Rescue Pet - Roll Over

Showbiz Career Track

• Extra - Nothing Required
• Understudy - Speak
• Stunt Double - Roll Over
• Star - Play Dead
