"The Sims 2" : Job Chance Cards

We help our Sims advance in their careers in many ways, making sure they have enough friends, skills, and sending them to work in a good mood. Doing this doesn't always result in a promotion, but increases the chances each time we do. Maxis introduces chance cards in "The Sims 2." This feature gives us another way to help improve or destroy careers.

When a Sim is at work a chance card may appear. The chance card gives you two choices to solve the problem or you may ignore it. The correct answer is randomly chosen, weighted towards the moral choice. If you choose correct, the outcome could mean money, a promotion, or skill points. If you don't, your Sim could be fired, or lose money and skills.
