Pop princess Katy Perry’s predilections for confections is the highlight of her second collaboration with The Sims 3. Katy Perry’s Sweet Treats is filled with décor, furniture, hairstyles and fashions inspired by the sultry singer. Among the items on offer are a cupcake-themed guitar, a waffle cone picnic table, and a candy fountain.
There are three pre-built venues available as well: Bonbon Lawn Park, Patty’s Natural Baths, and the Cake Pleasure Dome. Bonbon Lawn Park offers playground equipment resembling candy, while Patty’s Natural Baths offers a pool area and licorice-themed water slide for your Sims to have fun while keeping cool. The Cake Pleasure Dome is a hangout destination for your Sims, where they can lounge around on their choice of peppermint bar stools, cupcake chairs, and banana-split sofa. Also on hand are arcade machines topped with ice-cream sundaes.
In addition to the décor items and three venues, Sweet Treats includes various clothing and hairstyle options that Katy Perry has used throughout her career. Inspired by her music videos, red carpet arrivals, and concert performances, the game includes colorful dresses covered with lollipops, cupcakes, peppermints, and other candies. Katy Perry also recorded a version of her hit song, "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)," in the whimsical words of Simlish.
