Learn the meannings of terms you've probably heard in "The Sims Online."

“The Sims Online” may imitate real life, but has developed its own language, similar to what you’d find in a chat room. Understanding the shorthand of phrases is important to communicate with other Sims. Not knowing the lingo makes you look like a newbie to “The Sims Online.”

Take the time to learn "The Sims Online" terms I have listed below and be sure to practice good netiquette.

Term Definition
Greening Up Making motive bars green
AFK Away from keyboard
BRB Be Right Back
RL Real Life
Job Object An object you use to earn money
Ban List A list of people not allowed to enter a specific property
Boot Removing a sim from a property.
Bookmark Adding a person to a list that tells you when they are online.
BTW by the way
Code Refers to the Core Business Unit job object, that requires players to guess a combination of letters

PM Private Message
Pay Door A door that requires you to pay a set fee when entering and leaving a room.
