"The Sims 2 University" : Young Adult Life Stage

The focus of "The Sims 2 University" is college and the new life stage, Young Adults. They transition from Teen to Young Adults when the get out of the taxi in College Town. Teen Sims who do not go to college, will have their birthday as usual and become Adults. Teens can head to college any time before they become adults.

Creating Young Adults

There are two ways to create Young Adults. One way is for existing teens (Townie teens included) in your neighborhoods to enter college, at anytime they become a teen. As long as they enter college before the transition to Adulthood. The second way is to create Young Adults in the Create-a-Sim screen within the College neighborhood. Newly created and Townie Young Adults will provide more challenge than teens from the neighborhood, since they do not have any skills.

What They Can't Do
Young Adults are on their way to be independent Adults. There are a few things that they cannot do. Those things are:

• Adopt
• Get Married
• Try for Baby
• Have a Career

Note:The Young Adult stage lasts as long as it takes to complete all semesters of college or are expelled from school.
