"The Sims 2 University" : Bands

New musical instruments were added with "The Sims 2 University," that give Sims creativity skill points and the potential to earn tips from listeners. The new instruments when played at the same time, play the same song in harmony. It is in this way that Sims can form bands.

The "formed" band is a group of Sims playing together at the same time. A Sim in your control can ask another Sim to join by clicking on them. While your band plays each Sim can be tipped according to their performance. It doesn't appear that playing with Sims with low creativity points hurts tips.
