Disadvantages of Dorm Housing
- Can't change physical walls
- Cannot convert to Greek House
- NPC Sims live in unclaimed dorm rooms
NPC Sims live in dorm rooms that are not claimed by your playable Sims. Depending on your playing style and preferences this could be considered an advantage or disadvantage. I like the non-playable Sims, because it gives my Sims new people to socialize with.
Claim Your Dorm Room
Sims should claim their room before the NPC Sims show up in the Dorm. Otherwise, they may not get the best choice of dorm room. Some dorms have a bureau, while others have a desk and sometimes a computer. To claim a room, click on the door and select Claim Door. You can lock and unlock the door by clicking on the door.
