The collection is an excellent buy for "Zoo Tycoon 2" owners who do not already have any expansion packs and parents looking for a family friendly game. "Zoo Tycoon 2" is a fun low-stress game.
For newcomer's to the series, I suggest installing just "Zoo Tycoon 2" without the expansions. Once you become comfortable with the gameplay, install one expansion, explore the new features, and then install the second expansion. Installing everything at once, could be confusing to younger gamers.
